Local Live at the Rock Bottom Brewery

Here are a few shots from last weekends event!

Killer Pics for sale

My good confidant Ryan Tatar of Shakas and Single Fins is over in Japan right now. Looks like he had an awesome time. He's also selling all of his original artwork from the show so he can plan a trip through the North East later this year (one I might be able to tag along on also). Check em out!
Ryan's been a big supporter of JHall and so anytime I can, I send him the love back. Hey Ryan, hows that 7'11 Fish Simmons Quad treating ya? Just like the one you are taking a picture of being shaped, but that one was for Skipper!

Dos Articulos

A little nostalgia

Back a long long time ago I used to be apart of a company, Oenos Global Inc, and we imported wine from Spain, Chile and Argentina in to SD and sent it all over the state. Were in business for 3 years before I shut it down and started JHS full time. Its been classic going through some of these old pics!

This was our debut professional tasting, and yes, we cooked the paella.

The Old Wine Bank downtown, when it used to be owned by the right people.

This is Ernest, he and his family are behind the brillant wine Cava Rimarts. www.rimarts.net

This was a hosted lunch at the world famous Le Fountainebleu Restaurant downtown SD.

Sooooooo glad I don't have to wear this get up everyday anymore!....classic old times. Even used to wear glasses. Opps maybe I shouldn't have said that.....hahaha

A few dusty old pics...

You know what season it is when this starts happening....

R and D 10'6 Fish Simmons Tri

So Skip bought both of us 10'8 blanks last week to create to r and d boards for his new fins by North Shore Fins. He has 3 sizes of his tri fin template for fcs set ups. On top of that the foil and flex of the fibreglass is insane! Skip shaped a foiled out 10'7 Eagle which is already being laminated at Michael Millers place and I'm shaping a 10'6 Fish Simmons Tri, the first one at the length to ever get fcs plugs put in for all 3 fins. Can't wait for San O sessions this summer! Skips eagle is Laker purple tint, don't know what color mine will be yet but I'll post pics.

look out! Super secret after burners....

Tales of the Egg Art (Japan 2)

So below are a few pics from one of the amazingly long nights in Tokyo. Featured artists , Andy Davis, Jeff Canham and Tyler Warren. And yes, I scribbled something just to say I did. The boys had to do a live art exhibition and I happened to provide the canvas for the trip. 8'0 Egg.
